Prayers Needed

Hello All. It is with a heavy heart that I come to ask for prayers for a godly man, Chuck Smith. He is the founder of Calvary Chapel and a man God has used in mighty ways. Just this past weekend he announced that they have found cancer in his lung. Not much else is known, for sure, but needless to say prayers are always appreciated. I will certainly pray for Mr.Smith. Cancer is a terrible thing but God can heal.

Mission

"And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in neaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching then to observe all that I command you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Though the Lord has called His church into all the world, as moms our discipling starts right inside our home. Our children are our first mission field. We need to be faithful in discipling them in the ways of God so that when they are ready we can send them into all the world.
