Keyboard Town Pals Review

Photobucket

Keyboard Town Pals is a new way of teaching kids to type properly. They use story format that make learning proper finger placement easy for kids. No more rote memorizing and boring time tests. It grabs the imagination of the kids and helps them learn to properly type in a minimal time. It has Sunny guiding them through and then their pals, below, helping them and making it fun.

Though my daughter did enjoy the learning method she felt it was too young for her.  She was typing properly after her first half hour session, though slow, so I was happy to see it was teaching her! She had fun but did not want to continue do to her feeling it was too young. The age range is from 6-12 and I think it would depend on the child if it is, as my daughter says "too young".

They offer web based program, CD ROM program and different bundles. I think this program is very good for learning to type in a fun way. My daughter did have fun and learned, so to me that is a huge plus!

Specifics:
Ages: 6-12 and those with "learning differences"
Price Ranges from $30-$45 for the program. They do offer other things, such as stickers, coloring books, and other things, starting at $5.

I was offered this product for a free trial period for my personal review as part of the TOS Crew. All opinions are mine alone.
