Back among the livinig :)

Last week I cam down with a very nasty bug, not sure what it was, but it laid me up for five days. Everything, work, school, life was put on hold. God bless my parents and a close friend for helping with my daughter, other wise I fear all would have been totally lost. Well I am up and running and 75% now :) (Like I said it was a real doozy).

It was a time of rest(not the ideal way to rest) that was much needed and we have been running nonstop for too long. I love how God is so great to know when we need to rest, He makes me to lie down in green pastures, sometimes He needs to get a sick to make us rest.


This time of rest brought about the ending of a season of life that has been hanging on but needed to come to an end. It is with mixed emotions that I say goodbye to one and wait in the Lord for the new season. Our lives are orchestrated by the Master Musician and all we need to do is play the music He directs us to. I am praying this new 'piece' He has for us is a fruitful season!

1st Science Activity for the year

This first semester we are working through Apologia's new elementary anatomy book. We completed the first lesson, I learned so much and I am pretty sure my dd did as well :) For the end of lesson activity we were to build a cell out of Jello and a WHOLE lot of candy. So Saturday found us in Fuzziwigs shopping for all this candy, the other kids must have thought I was the coolest mom :) Sunday we finally made the cell. She had so much fun squishing the candy into the Jello, as I gagged( I don't like squishy or gooey anything!)

And then she presented it to grandma and grandpa and had to explain all the parts and what they do...I know such a mean mom to make her work like that on a fun activity...well she loved it!

Coming up for breath!!!

Well we have officially started school, hence my silence. We had family come into to town (with a days notice of coming) so school got pushed aside, errr. But it was fun to see them. Tried to start after they left and well they came back after three days, AHHHH! So this week should be a normal week for us (if we could ever say we are normal).
